Summary

Seagen is seeking a highly motivated individual to lead our HR Reporting and Analytics function. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategy, design, implementation, adoption, integration, optimization and maintenance of Human Resource reporting and analytics systems. These reporting and analytic capabilities include processes and metrics to ensure that accurate and insightful information is available to business leaders and HR when they need it. You will have a seat at the table to ensure that the processes feeding into our HR Systems produce the data required for broad-based, strategic HR analytics to support HR and business leaders around the world. You will also be responsible for ensuring that employee information is managed in accordance with our HR strategy as well as the company policies, practices and procedures around data sharing and privacy. Through this work, you will create tools to assess organizational health, diagnose business needs, identify areas for improvement, and analyze data to assess impact of and influence Seagen’s HR strategy. As a result, you will contribute to delivering a powerful employee experience, improve the effectiveness of Seagen, and impact the lives of people with cancer.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Develop a multi-year HR reporting and analytics strategy and accompanying roadmap to support business owners and HR leaders by providing insights and actionable data to support decision making and assess the impact of HR strategies
  • Deliver an accurate HR Dashboard and core HR reports and metrics to the business
  • Support other parts of HR and the business in gathering and analyzing data from employee ad hoc and engagement surveys
  • Build and evolve capability across the areas of Reports, Audits, HR Dashboards, Program/Project Metrics, Surveys (ex: Exit & Onboarding), data analysis and our HRIS
  • Prepare proactive workforce analytics and benchmarking reports for HRBPs, senior business leaders, and CoE Heads on trends associated with key human capital factors
  • Identify organizational trends, leading indicators, and creative talent metrics (e.g., span of control, total cost of the workforce) and develop recommendations regarding workforce strategy, planning and modeling
  • Partner closely with HR technology leader to define data architecture within HR systems to enable consistent and effective reporting services
  • Partner closely with cross-function teams to identify, design, and deliver reports and analytics for insight into people-related business problems, identifying trends, and making predictions
  • Contribute to cross-functional analytics projects from beginning to end; collect and analyze data, summarize and present key insights in support of decision making
  • Develop standardized processes and collateral to help streamline requests and new stakeholder work requests
  • Communicate key results via data visualization, determine how best to understand and apply data to drive outcomes. Communicate recommendations and influence leaders through thoughtful analysis of complex analytics
  • Be a source of knowledge and coach team and HR stakeholders on reporting tools and offerings including keeping them informed with industry trends, services and technologies
  • Contribute to the successful delivery of projects through leading efforts in project management, user-acceptance testing, training and deployment focused activities

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of in-depth hands-on analytical, reporting experience within an HRIS or ERP system
  • 10+ years of overall experience
  • Prior experience in leading HR analytics function for a business unit or corporation
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with HR data (e.g. headcount, turnover, recruiting metrics, and other people analytics)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data warehouse / data lake/ Business Intelligence or Analytics space and Data Science and statistical modeling tools
  • Experience with the following technologies: Power BI, Tableau, Looker or other OLAP cube/data visualization, ServiceNow
  • Proven analytic and quantitative decision-making skills, including the ability to extract meaningful insights from large data sets
  • Strong ability to develop & present actionable insights to HR partners and senior leaders
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in an appropriate manner
  • Collaborative, can-do spirit to solve challenging data problems for the business
  • Ability to manage multiple challenging projects that require creativity and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP Workforce Analytics
  • Any specific certifications around Data Sciences preferred
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Advanced Structured Query Language (SQL) / query language skills with large-scale, complex data sets

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or directly-related field
