BioPharmaceutical Technology Center (BCTI), K-12 Outreach -- BTCI is involved in developing and implementing programs which provide hands-on, lab-based experiences to students and their teachers. Career exploration -- in ways appropriate to each age group -- is an integral part of this programming, which often includes opportunities to interact with Promega employees and others from the Madison area scientific and technical communities.

Milwakee School of Engineering Center for BioMolecular Modeling -- This NIH-funded professional development program provides teachers with up-to-date content information in the molecular biosciences and access to the latest protein modeling technology. The core of the program is helping students understand biomolecular structure and function through an integrated computer and physical modeling approach.

College of Engineering Young Scientists of America -- Young Scientists of America® promotes an interest in science, math, and technology in young people ages 8-18 through hands-on experience in scientific or technical areas with the interaction of sponsors, mentors or instructors.

Institute for Chemical Education -- The Institute for Chemical Education supports two outreach programs designed to encourage scientific discovery and enthusiasm in youth: Students Participating in Chemical Education (SPICE) and "Fun With Chemistry" Chem Camp.

Science is Fun in the Lab of Shakhashiri -- The master of chemical demonstrations, University of Wisconsin-Madison Chemistry Professor Bassam Z. Science Saturdays -- Science Saturdays are a series of Saturday morning sessions of science fun and learning designed for elementary and middle school children and their parents

Wisconsin BioHistory -- Learn about significant milestones in the historical development of Wisconsin's biotechnology & medical technology industry.

Wisconsin Parent Teachers Association (PTA) -- The Wisconsin State PTA aims to empower and support members with skills in advocacy, leadership, and communication to positively impact the lives of all children.

Wisconsin Science Network -- The Wisconsin Science Network is a coalition of education associations, agencies, and businesses that facilitate a statewide effort in support of science education. The program links teachers in public and private K-16 schools throughout Wisconsin to provide an information network. The Wisconsin Science Network is part of the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) Building a Presence for Science Program.

Wisconsin Science Olympiad -- The Science Olympiad is an international nonprofit organization devoted to improving the quality of science education, increasing student interest in science and providing recognition for outstanding achievement in science education by both students and teachers. These goals are accomplished through classroom activities, research, training workshops and the encouragement of intramural, district, regional, state and national tournaments.

Wisconsin Society of Science Teachers (WSST) -- WSST's purpose is to promote, support and improve science education in the state of Wisconsin by providing leadership, advocacy, and programs to enhance the teaching and learning of science.
